Sam Kassirer is a 34 year-old record producer, composer, and touring musician who splits his time between his home in Boston and an old farmhouse in Maine called the Great North Sound Society, which he has transformed into a retreat-style recording studio.
Sam has produced critically-acclaimed albums for Josh Ritter, Lake Street Dive, Langhorne Slim, David Wax Museum, and many others. As a composer, Sam recently scored the documentary film “In the Game” (Kartemquin films). He has remained a member of Josh Ritter’s touring band for the past 12 years, where he has performed on The Late Show with David Letterman, Late Night with Conan O’Brien, and Jimmy Kimmel Live.
