Established in San Francisco in 1993, Noise Pop is one of the leading independent music promoters in the country. Noise Pop has a long history of providing a platform for rising talent to thrive, beginning with the Noise Pop festival in San Francisco. Over the last 23 years the Noise Pop Festival has provided exposure to some of the nation's best emerging artists, many of who have gone on to widespread acclaim, including The White Stripes, Modest Mouse, Death Cab for Cutie, The Flaming Lips, The Shins, Fleet Foxes, Bright Eyes and Yoko Ono. In 2006, Noise Pop began expanding the scope and presence of its established brand into year-round events that celebrate all forms of independent culture, music, food, art and merchandise. These events include a multitude of musical and cultural events, including Treasure Island Music Festival, 20th Street Block Party, San Francisco Street Food Festival and more. In 2015, after a year of updates and restoration, Noise Pop took over booking at the historic Swedish American Hall, a revered venue and historic San Francisco landmark which now features performances several nights a week.
